Award Winning Web Series Dark Lord.png

Dear Dark Lord had its festival premiere on Friday November 9th, 2018 at the Chicago International REEL Shorts Film Festival. We were honored to be part of programming that included amazing shorts, ranging from heartfelt comedies to high-concept sci-fi films.

Dear Dark Lord won an Audience Award for the Friday night slot of programming. We couldn’t have done this without all our fans. Thank you for taking time away from re-arranging your bone piles to worship our Dark Lord.

'Hello from the Magic Tavern' Shouts Out 'Dear Dark Lord'

Hello From The Magic Tavern Illustration.jpg

Hello from the Magic Tavern gave Dear Dark Lord a shout out on their 11/06/17 episode, titled "Pulcifer the Unassuming." Listen to the entire episode below. The web series shout out (i.e. the part where I smiled like a dumb child and then numerous victory fist pumps) comes at minute 20.

Thanks, Arnie, for reading out my entire email and playing along with my dumb jokes. For real, it was very sweet. And it was great to get a moment of recognition from a Chicago-grown podcast phenomenon.

If you aren't listening to Hello from the Magic Tavern, you should be. And if you haven't watched our teaser yet, may the Dark Lord consume your soul.

Dear Dark Lord Featured in Stareable Newsletter

The teaser for Dear Dark Lord was featured in last week's Stareable.com newsletter after our trailer won their weekend pitch party. We racked up them sweet, sweet likes for our trailer on facebook in order to secure the victory, making Stareable the second institution to recognize us pre release. Wow!

Thanks for the shoutout, Stareable — and thanks to everyone who liked the trailer on facebook.

In their own words, "Stareable is the largest community of web series creators and fans," and they are "building the future of television through collaboration and discovery." Seems pretty cool to us!

Stay tuned for more updates! Editor extraordinaire Ryan Eakins has been piecing together the 'sodes, and he told me that they're pretty tasty!

We love content!
